According to Private TV, in the reply submitted to PCB, Fakhar Zaman has said that Babar Azam is my friend and fellow player, subordinate to PCB and it is obligatory to accept the decisions.
The national batsman said that Babar Azam’s support was not intended to slander the PCB or any other individual. I am in central contract, I am getting salary, I talked about Babar Azam’s cricket, I think Babar Azam should have been given a chance in difficult times.
Fakhar Zaman added that the purpose of writing on social media was not to take offense at PCB but to express his opinion, PCB is our institution, we respect it and will continue to do so.
It should be noted that it was decided to drop Babar Azam from the last two matches of the home Test series against England, on which Fakhr Zaman issued a reaction on social media. Pakistan Cricket Board had sent a show cause notice to Fakhar Zaman.
